I'm interested in trying to reduce long-term risks from artificial intelligence. I'm currently working on an ethnography of AI researchers, and am enthusiastic about figuring out how to use social science methods to reduce AI risks. (Please shoot me an email if this is a shared interest!)
Previously I completed my PhD in Tom Griffiths's Computational Cognitive Science Lab at UC Berkeley / Princeton University, where I also collaborated with CHAI. I had a great time working on computational models of social cognition.
